Salient to Investors:
Lloyd Blankfein at Goldman Sachs said the US is the brightest spot in the global economy: US recovery is shallow but established. Blankfein said globally we will muddle through.
Will Tseng at Mirae Asset Global Investments said US growth is moderate, but better than Europe or Japan. Tseng said the benchmark 10-yr note yield is still less than the average of 3.51 percent over the past decade, and would be a buyer at 2.75 percent.
The median economist predicts tapering will begin in March and the median economic forecast says GDP grew at a 2 percent rate in Q3.
