Americans Say They’re Better Off Since Obama Took Office – Bloomberg 06-20-12

Bloomberg poll shows:

• 45 percent believe they are better off, 36 percent worse off, than at the beginning of 2009.
• 28 percent say their household income is higher than a year ago, 22 percent who said it is lower.
• 32 percent are hopeful about improvement in the economy, down from 37 percent in March, while 19 percent are fearful, up from 17 percent three months ago.
• 49 percent prefer Obama’s economic vision to Romney’s, 33 percent prefer Romney’s – a 7-percentage- point gain for Obama since March.
