Salient to Investors:

The Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index indicates the share of households projecting the economy will improve rose to 37 percent in November, the highest since March 2002. Index manager Gary Langer at Langer Research Associates  said the gain is largely political, occurring very disproportionately among Democrats – gains need to be more broadly based to be truly persuasive.

Harm Bandholz at UniCredit said the recovery is gaining momentum and when the fiscal cliff is resolved, growth will rise.
